Description

The Preston Ridge Trail is a long trail that allows for many places to start and stop. This trail is a very suburban trail that follows along a power line egress and doesn't really give you a sense of solitude.

It is very well-maintained by the city and allows for wonderful bike commuting options as it connects to several other long trails that run throughout the greater Plano area. Although you don't get the solitude of running in the forest, it can be wonderfully colored during the spring with the yearly wildflower bloom. The city does a great job of planting a menagerie of wildflowers along this trail.
