This is a steep track with a combination of firm dirt, gravel, and bitumen. There are numerous stairs. The northern side of the track is steeper and has more stairs. The northern lookout point is excellent for viewing turtles feeding in the water below. The middle and top lookouts have outstanding views of the islands and surrounding countryside.

Mosquitoes can be quite bad, particularly on the southern side, so wear repellent.

Scrub turkeys, butterflies, occasional snakes, and turtles from the northern lookout.
