Runner Notes

A good, flat trail in the high country.

Description

Off of the Big Laguna Trail, turn onto the Sunset Trail at the edge of a lake or a big grassy field (depending on the water levels). Head uphill and then slowly back down until you arrive at another lake (or grassy field) where you bump into the Water of the Woods Spur.

Cut right along the rocky Los Rasalies Ravine. Follow the ravine and then cut south through the pine forest until if opens up to a nice vista about three miles in. You slip back into the forest here until you rejoin the Water of the Woods Spur again which you can either take right to the Sunset Highway or left to get back toward where you started.
