Great shady trail run with a few steep inclines to surmount and lots of flat trail to recover on in between. Watch out for bikers.

This trail runs by two of the Battery installments at Fort Worden, Battery Walker, and Battery Tolles. The trail winds through heavy forest and comes out to clearings where the bunkers are located. Some areas of the trail are at a decent grade and require effort to surmount, however, it won't be difficult for someone who is fit. At each bunker step out, make sure to look for the incredible views out over Admiralty Inlet.
