Description

Intersecting with Middle Mountain on its upper end, Salt Stump is moderate trail that leads through big trees and dense forest. Bears can be seen/found on the upper parts of the trail, so keep your eyes peeled for them. On the lower end, the trail connects with both Laurel View and Pine Tree Trail.

It is blazed orange, which makes keeping on track especially easy.

Access info: The trail can be accessed from Middle Mountain at the top and then Pine Tree Trail, Laurel View, Backway Hollow Trail on the way down and Beaver Dam Campground at the bottom.
