I walked this trail a few weekends ago. My GPS recorded it being longer than .7 miles. Maybe someone can measure it on the map. The trail is somewhat overgrown and muddy in places but is easy to find and navigate.

The photo-ops at the end in Jordan Lake are well worth this short run. Watch for the wild blue heron that inhabit the marshy area on the south side as well as the predatory birds who build their nests in the electrical towers. I am not a birder, but my guess is that they are osprey.
