There is a beautiful boulder field on the old railroad portion.

Description

This trail is a nice mix of flat and some nice climbing. You get to run on the old railroad bed next to the creek through a few cuts in the hillside. The trail finally ends at the bridge crossing the creek. From there, you can cross the bridge to more miles of fun or turn right and start up the hill onto the Wendel Cassel Trail.
