Runner Notes

The trail can be very confusing at the bottom of Carris Hill as this white-blazed Posts Brook Trail also intersects with the white-blazed Lower Trail.

Description

The white-blazed Posts Brook Trail is a picturesque 1.4-mile out-and-back trail within Norvin Green State Forest. The trail is mostly flat and parallels Posts Brook for most sections. The popular destination on this trail is Chikahoki Falls, which can be quite striking in the spring flows or after heavy rains.

Posts Brook Trail can also be easily combined with other trails within Norvin Green State Forest, and joins with Lower Trail, Hewitt-Butler Trail, and Carris Hill Trail.
