During the spring, the river swells and becomes difficult and potentially impossible to cross.

Description

The trail begins on an old mining road. It heads through open fields for about 1.5 miles. At this point you must cross the Little Cimarron River. Once across the river, the trail is no longer a mining road and is now a singletrack trail. At this point you can either continue onto the Little Cimarron River Trail or you can turn around to return to your car.
