Description

Snow Canyon is often overlooked. In any other state, where it wasn't overshadowed by the likes of Zion and Bryce Canyon, it would be a national park instead of a state park. But this place is well worth a day trip and is a great place to take kids. It features red rocks, lava flows, potholes, washes, and is surprisingly verdant.

This trail edges around the white rocks at the north end of Snow Canyon which standing out from the surrounding red rock country, beckoning to be explored. This trail is less traveled and not as distinct but it is still easy to follow.

From the Whiterocks Trail parking lot - this is still a fee area, even though technically just outside the north entrance to Snow Canyon SP. The "pimple" dome in the forefront.
