With the exception of a few longer climbs, this is a very pleasant and runnable trail.

Description

Beaver Pond Loop is a beautiful trail in southern Alaska in Lake Clark National Park. This is a steadily climbing trail through the tundra with well-appointed boardwalks, meandering single tracks through quiet woods, and an easy way to access Tanalian Falls by connecting to the Falls and Lake Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Moose, ptarmigan, bald eagle, black bear, brown bear, variety of other birds, caribou, moss, and other tundra species.
