This is a narrow singletrack on the treeless south face of Monte Bolleto with a high cross slope. At times, the combination of narrow singletrack and high cross slope may can be a bit of a mental challenge. While unpleasant, a fall here won't send you too far down the mountain.

On the other hand, the trail stays at roughly the same elevation contour (1150 m; 3800 ft), which will likely be welcome since you'll have had a pretty good climb to get to this trail on either DTL: Brunate - Monte Boletto or DTL: Sentiero dei Faggi (Trail of the Beech Trees).

You can clearly see this treeless peak from the northern suburbs of Milano (on a clear day) and thus you can also see Milano from this trail on a clear day (like on a windy day or after a recent rain has washed away the smog).

The treeless southern face will be snow-free except in the coldest months of the year, but the north-facing, canopy covered DTL: Sentiero dei Faggi (Trail of the Beech Trees) may still have snow in late-April. If you are running from Como via DTL: Brunate - Monte Boletto and find the DTL: Sentiero dei Faggi (Trail of the Beech Trees) to be snow-covered, you can take this to access some of the viewpoints of Lago di Como further to the east before you'll have to turn around due to snow.
