Description

Going clockwise from the north trailhead, the trail is winding and rolling. As you go south, you gradually lose elevation. Around the turnoff for the south trailhead, the trail gets a little tighter and rocks start showing up. There are lots of little dips and very minor creek crossings.

Heading north again, you follow the edge of a shallow ravine, and the trail keeps winding with a few sharp turns to keep it interesting. Towards the north end, you cross a few more minor creeks that may or may not have water in them and a neat rock and mortar bridge before heading back up to the trailhead.

In warmer months, the trail does get a little overgrown, and there are plenty of ticks so bring the DEET.

This stretch of singletrack shows some signs of the overgrowth coming back in after the initial wide cutback.
