Access this trail from Fourth Gap Road and head east at the second intersection that you come to. You'll follow a fence for a little bit, and then continue on meandering through the beautiful scenery on a mixed tread. Enjoy the longer downhill in the middle of the trail, because right afterwards there is a very steep climb hidden on the trail.

You'll eventually connect onto a road for a short while then cut off the road left to finish up on Mile Run Road.

Dense hardwood forests blanket the hills in this area.
