Description
Most use this as a climbing section from
Raccoon Trail to the
Seven Mile Connector. It get's steep and rocky.
If you want to use it as a downhill, start out on the
Lower Seven Mile Connector and look for the entrance to the trail on the left side off the connector, a map or the
Trail Run Project mobile app will be handy. Once you find it, run to the top of the ridge then turn left next to a rock wall. This is where it gets crazy. It is a very steep downhill with lots of rocks and saplings to maneuver around.
If you make it through this section, you'll encounter a steep drop that brings you down to the stream. Cross over and run the trail on the other side until you see a big tree down. Cross back over that. Once you cross back, enjoy some very technical rock sections on your way out to the switchback of Raccoon Mountain Trail.
