Trail running would be extremely difficult in the soft sand.

This trail winds around the north end of Jupiter Ridge Natural Area on primarily a soft, sandy surface through low scrub brush areas. I prefer to start from the parking lot area and end up at the viewing deck overlooking the water.

Be sure to bring drinking water as this area can get hot with full exposure to sun. Keep an eye peeled for the trail signs, as they are not maintained well.
