It's a mowed path, good running but mind the uneven bits.

This is one of those trails that you only do if you're a completist. It is exactly what it looks like in the overhead shots, a mowed path on the perimeter of what appears to have been either pasture or tilled field at some point in the past. It's pretty far from the most exciting trail in middle Tennessee but, to be fair, we did visit it in midsummer and it's possible that it might just be lousy with wildflowers in the spring. You're liable to see some coneflowers and we did spot some butterflies and dragonflies, so it's not entirely undistinguished but the real fun is to be had up near the lake. Still, it's worth a visit.
