Description
The trail starts from the northern end of the upper parking lot behind city hall. Using switchbacks, the trail ascends gradually offering increasingly better views. The trail ends at the park road. Turning right and going about 0.2 miles will lead to an overlook with 360-degree panoramic views; turning left and running down the road about 0.3 miles will lead to the Serra Cross.
During construction of the trail, builders unearthed cobblestones that were originally used to form terraces of agriculture. Today, about 200 feet of these stone walls has been incorporated into the trail.
