The Castair Trail begins at the end of the Trebek Open Space Connector and runs straight ahead as a gradual dirt road. The trail then bends north and traverses the east wall of Nichols Canyon. You'll quickly reach an overlook of downtown L.A. Continuing along the trail, it will soon come to an end as it reaches a fenced-off private property. You can turn around here to return to the trailhead and link up with other trails if you want to extend your run.
