Description

This section of the Capital Area Greenway Trail system follows along Crabtree Creek. Starting from Anderson Point Park near the Neuse River Trail, the trail winds northwest. This trail winds around the Crabtree Creek. Keep an eye ahead on the trail as there are many turns. Please pay attention closely to the trail, as it is not well-marked at points that cross the streets, especially at Lassiter Mill Road.

Along the way, runners will pass by Kiwanis Park and North Hills Park and pass a junction with the Mine Creek Trail. While the full trail may be a bit long to run end-to-end, there are plenty of places to access the trail to break it up into more manageable sections.

Flora & Fauna

No flora or fauna to speak of. However, there are many pine trees on both sides of the trail.
