Resist the temptation to take cut-through or non-marked "hack trails"....most cases of people getting confused or lost is because they took a "hack trail" or cut-through that was not marked with a trailhead sign.

Be careful on the upper canyon sections as there are some hazardous drop-offs (well marked, but stay aware).

Runner Notes

This can be a trickier section for trail runners. Be careful as you're on the rim of the canyon – know your skill level! ;)

Description

This is a short trail following the rim of the canyon. It has some nice scenery as it dips down toward the creek on the Canyon Trail. This connects the High Trail and Canyon Trail.
