Description
A long time dream of Moab locals is a reality with this trail system right on the south edge of Moab. Enjoy running on Moabs most accessible singletrack; it sits just on the edge of town!
This is a great evening run. Start the trail right as the sun dips below the rim and you'll have plenty of daylight to finish your run. The easiest direction to run is from south to north as its is mostly all downhill.
Start with the La Sals at your back as the trail climbs and descends along the south side of the Moab rim. You'll climb and descend plenty of tight switchbacks and rocky sections.
The trail can be accessed from 3 Trailheads:
-Aspen Ave. off of Kane Creek Blvd. right in town, minimal parking
-Jackson Street across highway 191 from 400E on South end of town, no parking.
-Hidden Valley Trailhead at Angel Rock Road. (mile marker 122) has the most parking. Hidden Valley is another popular running trail.
Much of this trail borders private land, please respect land owners wishes.
Please clean up after your dogs.
