Description

This is the High Point portion of the Bicentennial Greenway. This should be completed to near downtown High Point in 2018. There is also a Greensboro portion that will be connected one day.

This trail is mostly flat following the Deep River. A portion of it has some smaller rolling hills and one difficult climb. Much of the the trail parallels the Piedmont Environmental Center and High Point City Lake. It also passes Gibson Park.

Though most of the trail is paved, there are portions where the pavement is rough and damaged from roots or very overgrown making it more like singletrack.
