Description

This trail is the long and main route of the Curly Lake Loop. The trail itself climbs a large ridge into Curly Lake basin, then climbs to an alpine plateau with huge views and a massive descent. The trail contours all the way north to connect to the Rock Creek Trail.

This is a long trail with many rugged sections and steep grades, on the way up and down.

If you plan on running the entire trail, or making loops from Curly Lake Trail, you may want to plan on camping.
