Start at the western end of Emma Carlin trails at the scenic overlook. There is some nice descending on the southern route with rocky and sandy sections. Obviously, this trail is very similar in surface type to Connector - North, with open fields, sandy areas, good descents, and some rock sections too. Connector - South and Connector - North come together at all road crossings, allowing for bail out if you need to turn back.
