This trail starts on the exposed ridge of Lookout Mountain and descends down to the parking area by Ochoco Creek Campground.

The upper section is very rocky and steep, then slowly transitions to a smoother trail below the tree-line. Multiple short climbs spice things up and give your knees a rest.

Running from bottom to top is fairly tough due to steep grades, but can be done. Take this route to make your run an out-and-back to Lookout Mountain's summit.
