Description

This trail can be accessed by heading west from the south parking lot. If you take it in this direction it's mostly uphill. Alternatively, you can link up to it from the Canyon Trail and get to run this trail for nearly 9 miles of mostly downhill!

This is a multi-use trail. The area is grazed by sheep and cattle, so look out for them as well.

This trail is partially doubletrack, but mostly singletrack through rolling terrain. To the west, it crosses into the Red Mountain Open Space (managed by Larimer County) and then continues north into the Big Hole Open Space in Wyoming (managed by the city of Cheyenne). It then loops down south again back into the Red Mountain Open Space.
