Description

This trail starts off of FS 641and climbs the ridge to Scott Mountain Lookout. Starting in ponderosa pine forest, the trail ascends through Douglas-fir and continues to up eventually winding through subalpine firs. It crosses a couple forest service roads on the way to the lookout. The trail steepens a bit in the last few miles.

Please note that there is no water source along the trail, so carry enough for your journey.

Flora & Fauna
