This trail crosses several streams (one with a bridge and several without), climbing in and out of the creek beds, as it traverses the western edge of the reservoir. Numerous game trails bisect this trail and can make route finding a little difficult at times.

Portions of this trail were burned in the 2006 Rattlesnake Fire.

This trail can be linked with the road to make a loop.
