Description

An easy, family-friendly in-town trail, the Joseph Micelli Trail starts in the City of Roseburg, Micelli Park and takes runners south along the unique South Umpqua riverfront. This is an experience that transcends the runner into Roseburg rich historical past.

At the southern end of Joseph Micelli Trail, you'll discover the remains of the New Era Roller Mill (flour mill foundation) and the pillars of the Alexander (brothers) Footbridge. Climb the stairs constructed from railroad debris, and you're at the end of this trail section, Mill Street. This is a short and easy connection between Micelli Park and historic Mill Street along the beautiful South Umpqua River.
