This trail is not especially well kept, so be on the lookout for obstacles, especially after inclement weather. If there has recently been some good rainfall, expect moderate flooding (2-6 inches) in some parts, and fallen leaves may cover parts of the trail. There are some white arrows on some of the trees indicating where to turn to help keep you on track.

Beware of spiders. Every now and then they'll build webs across the path. While not dangerous, they are an inconvenience and often cause a surprise.

Be aware and courteous of other users on the trail.
