Cape Meares Ridge Trail

This .6 mile trail that begins outside the park about a 1/2 mile short of the Cape Meares lighthouse turn off. You'll see a large dirt turnoff on the west side of the road that can accommodate about 15 parked cars. After parking your car, follow the west side of the road to the north for about 100+ yards. The trailhead will be on the left after a slight uphill, and will continue down along the ridge. After a short trip into a valley, you'll cross a footbridge and head back up along another ridge on your way to the Octopus Trail. The views along the ridges of this trail are nothing short of spectacular.
