Description

This is one of many well-marked dirt trails that make up the Forest Park Nature Center. Starting from the Bee Tree Trail Loop, this trail makes a sizable descent through forests rife with silver maple and oak. After roughly a quarter mile, the descent is mostly over, and you'll traverse a pleasant drainage to contour the hillside.

At a junction with the Lower Deer Run Trail, make a right to stay on course. A left at the junction with the Cardinal Trail will leave you at the trail's end in a T-intersection with the Valley Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Keep your eyes peeled for deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, and possums along the trail.
