A good running route for a Saturday or Sunday outing with stunning views and beautiful waterfalls.

Beware of the creek crossing at the beginning of Summer Creek, which can be a river. May need to take additional socks.

From mid-April to early June, there are many ticks.

To access this out-and-back run, you can take bus #12 from the Hotel "Kazakhstan" (first bus 07.15 AM, last from Medeo 08.40 PM). Or, at the start point, you can park a car at the public parking lot.

After parking, the trail will start out heading uphill. You'll take a ladder up to Medeo dam and at the middle of the track, the trail will continue to go uphill from there. There are two more difficult places where the steep grade will get your heartbeat up.

Overall trail surface: 80% ground, 20% stones and uphill.

Take 1.5 liters of water. You can refill using the fresh spring near the waterfall.
