This is a two mile loop trail from the campground out to beach and back. The trail is mostly singletrack through hardwood forest along the side of the ridge, occasionally dipping down near the lake with views of the water. This track starts from trailhead just inside the campground welcome station. You could also start near the restroom bathhouse. When you reach the beach, the trail goes across the grassy lawn of the beach and then picks back up on the east side of the road, north of the parking. The trail returns by following the east side of the ridge.

Hardwoods and cedars. Good forest birds.
