As mapped, if you run this trail from the intersection with Homestead and Miller Gulch trails, it's a steady descent the entire way.

There really aren't any very challenging sections, and the trail surface is mostly smooth dirt/sand the entire way down (there can be some loose sections, so watch your footing).

This trail is a nice way to finish a longer run at Buffalo Creek - it drops you right down onto Buffalo Creek road, not far from the trailhead at Deckers Road.
