This trail connects the Lava Lands Visitor Center to the Deschutes River Trail. It's a beautiful, smooth trail that abuts an old lava flow that's easy to follow. The trail has just a few rocky bits, but it's definitely an easy trail otherwise. It's a nice and shaded trail, with views every once in awhile of the lava flow and the Cascade Range. It ends at the Deschutes River, though you can hop on the Deschutes River Trail toward Bend or Sun River.
