This is an 1,100 foot climb from the HWY 93 trailhead. The climb is tough and sometimes steep - 15% grades near the top, but a very rewarding downhill. It is a narrow and rugged downhill.
At the end of Badger is Castle Rock Trail, also part of the Cerbat Foothills Rec. Area. If you continue straight on Castle Rock it adds another 0.6 miles to the run making it a nice 8 mile route.
