The pond near Sawyer Mountain Trail drains onto the old road, making accessing this trail without getting your feet wet difficult.

Description

The trail portion of Hale Road starts at the trail sign at the end of the maintained Hale Road, beyond the residential area. It's a discontinued, rocky road that climbs through the forest and meets up with Sawyer Mountain Trail next to a pond or marshy area. There's not much more to it.

It doesn't appear that there is room for parking.
