Description

Branching off of the unnamed connector, Beach is another ridge trail in the southern part of the Sugarloaf Peak trail system that shares the same basic characteristics as Moab and Bart. If you're heading east, you are climbing, if you're heading west, it's a downhill. The trails become more defined as you run east, and less defined as you run west, particularly when you drop into the sandy wash as you approach the power line. Recent construction on the powerline has meant new roads being built and old ones disappearing and new ending points and connections have yet to become well established.

The ending point is ambiguous on the south end. Follow the wash back out to the canal road or make your own connection to one of the other trails and head back east.
