Description

The Pillar to Pond name came from a giant pillar left behind from the Redstone Quarry, which has been lying in the same spot since the 1940's, thus the Pillar. The northern half of the trail travels east of Pudding Pond, therefore the name has always been Pillar to Pond.

There is not a lot of elevation gain on this trail, but it does have a lot of fun rollers and several bridges to cross. Overall, this is a great trail for beginners and fun for anyone.
