Description

This is most often done as a way to connect all the great singletrack in the Klondike Bluffs area.

Starting on the south end, after reaching the start from Baby Steps South, you'll wind around washes on slickrock and sand. It's never very difficult, but the white paint trail markers are sometimes hard to find, so keep your eye out. You'll pass several nice singletrack options (Baby Steps Singletrack Loop 1 and Baby Steps Singletrack Loop 2), some dinosaur tracks if you can find them, and then arrive at the junction with UFO.

Take a right and continue wandering around slickrock until you intersect the Klondike Bluff 4x4. Go left, up a steep ridge, and then enjoy some descending through the Salt Valley.

After a long straightaway, you'll take a sharp left and climb back up to the mesa, where you'll again wind around slickrock that is smooth, and fun!

There are excellent signs at all trail intersections.
