Overview

This is a beautiful run in the Mt. Pinatubo area on a split between fire road, singletrack and paved local roads.

Need to Know

Bring all / most of your water. There are some unreliable water sources available along the way (time of year dependent), but in general, it is best to bring your own.

Description

Start at the Ayala Alviera development, off the Porac exit from the SCTEX. Head towards Barangay Sapang Uwak, where many of the indigenous people of the area live (Aetas). After about 10k, you get to a junction that splits to the beautiful Miyamit Waterfall which is 2 km from here. Swimming is possible in the pools at the base of the falls. From the junction, the trail becomes a rough singletrack, for another 9km or so, depending on the trail conditions.
