Description

Parking along Highway 49 (Halls Ranch Trailhead) on the right, trail is back across the road and up just a bit of a dirt road on the left.

This trail just climbs and climbs, and relentlessly climbs. It is loose, on the edge, and sometimes loamy after a snow melt. Do this route when you want to get punished on the way up but highly rewarded on the way down. This trail has not been maintained in a while and has branches and trees across and sticking into the trail. It is overgrown in some spots and isn't your plush park style trail. Not gonna lie, it's GAMEY, but that's why it's good!

Descending on the other side on Fiddle Creek Ridge Trail is fun if you like to explore (wrecked from moto use), but otherwise just stick to the ridge.
