Description

From the Rainbow Dam Trailhead, follow the well-signed trail down the Missouri River along the bluffs and canyons above Cochrane, Ryan, and Morony Dam Reservoirs. The gravel surface road along half the route is also available a an easier choice.

This trail cam be done as a shuttle.

Most of these trails were hand built by Great Falls bicyclists, for bicyclists, but they're open to foot traffic. Lots of ups, downs, twists and turns keep the trail challenging and interesting.

Basically continuous overlooks of the dams, cliffs, great falls, and reservoirs along the way.
