Open all year, not a lot of cars on the road. Remember to bring a camera and good lungs (high altitude 3,400 m.a.s.l).
Description
This is a good climb from the town of Ubaté. From there, you continue to climb crossing through the little town of Fuquene all the way to the moor. When you reach it, you'll cross on dirt roads until you start a steep descent down to the paved road.
Most runners will turn left and follow the paved road to Carmen de Carupa and then through Ubaté to make a loop that's mostly easy descending for the second half.
There aren't a lot of places where you can buy food, just when you reach the towns.
