Runner Notes

The trail is slick in spots when wet, so wear some grippy shoes if possible.

Description

Do not miss this trail above the ancient city of Bath. This route is amazingly diverse. To access the start, runners can begin in the city centre and head up a roadway known as the Cleveland Walk. From there, the singletrack includes steep climbs through ancient woodlands, with tangled roots, rocks and a some stairs. The path winds through the woods, sometimes opening up into meadows with cattle, sheep and panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside.
