Description

This 2.9 mile long trail connects the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) with the heart of the Sky Lakes Basin in the Sky Lakes Wilderness. Descending from the PCT, this trail passes several small, unnamed lakes (water sources, swimming, camping), contours atop basalt cliffs overlooking Trapper and Margurette Lakes, then continues its descent past Lake No-See-Um to its end at a junction with the Sky Lakes Trail #3762 between Trapper and Margurette. This trail makes possible several running and backpacking loops in and around this wilderness.
