Inner River Trail

This trail section passes through typical hill country scenery along the flat bottomlands near the Llano River. The trail begins from the parking area and heads straight east for a quarter mile. The trail dips south to meet the Buck Lake Trail near the lake. The trail then turns north to join the main section of the River Trail at a nice overlook of the river. This trail is mostly good for connecting different trails together into loops. An advantage is that there is some shade along most of the trail.
