Runner Notes
There are multiple creek crossings. At times, the trail travels on steep banks with some trail washout or a very narrow path in places. There is some deadfall including large trees and portions of lightly overgrown trail presenting some navigation challenges the further upstream you go.
Description
This trail features a number of creek crossings that are necessary on this less-used section of the Snowbird Creek Trail since most rehears turn around at Middle Falls. Around these creek crossings, the trail can become faint and hard to follow, keep your eye on the
Trail Run Project mobile app to make sure you're on the right path.
From the start of this section of Snowbird Creek Trail located at the second junction (upstream end) with the Snowbird Creek Alternate Trail #64A, the trail passes Upper Falls and proceeds to a signed junction with
Mitchell Lick Trail #154 near the source of Snowbird Creek. As of 2017, the sign at Mitchell Lick is rotted and barely readable.
